世界唯一的我: disappointing 2007

2006 was bad enough for me and I'm glad it was over, but 2007 isn't that good after all. Had a bad start. Lot of disappointments. Maybe the problem lies in me. I'm just a simple person who likes to have surprises. But everytime my surprises turn into disappointments.

eg.1
gal: hey boy, we are getting g***e a crumple bag for her birthday, you wanna chip in ten bucks?
me: ok sure.

she remembers others' birthday, remembers to get pressies for others but never got me one, not even a birthday card, for my birthday last year...
i bought her a heart shape candle with rainbow colour when it's lighted, a bear with lot of little stars folded by me. I was outside her house till the clock striked 12am and i rang her to give her a surprise. Apparently it didn't surprise her at all.

eg.2 (in gucci shop)
E***e: this wallet doesn't suit you but if you like it i will get it as a x'mas for you.
me: since you said it doesn't suit me then i will go look for other designs. (thinking that E would surprise me)

The next day E went to Orchard, thinking that E was going to get that wallet for me to give me a surprise. But... *disappointed* I bought the wallet on my own then. =(

me: hey you wanna join the surf and sweat beach volleyball?
kh: zy asked me last night and i'm joining his team.
me: tot we agreed to play with our own team for all the beach volleyball 4-4 tournies that we formed 2 years back.
kh: ya, but nobody asked so i thought not participating.
me: fine, whatever. never mind.

Both are my buddies. Zy asked kh but NOT me!!! So I'm outcast, I guess. I can't be bothered anymore. I thought they were my true friends. I'm just being NAIVE!

Too many disappointments in life...but well, life still goes on. I should be doing my count down. maybe another 4 to 6 years more before my days are up. E told me to look at things positively so that good things would be attracted to me. I tried, it doesn't seem to work on me. Maybe 'cos of different religious. Blame it on my attitude. Too bad I'm born with attitude. I tried to control my temper but you are still not satisfied. I'm unreasonable. YES! I'm childish. YES! I'm attitude. YES! It's always me and me and me...always my fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!
